The WFX-Fit is the Canadian Physical Performance Exchange Standard for Type 1 Wildland Fire Fighters (WFX-FIT). You must pass this test every year to maintain your certification with 90 days of your work start date. (Source Ontario MNRF)

Cost
Each attempt of the Winter 2026 WFX-Fit costs $240 ($212.39 + HST).
