VO2 Max

A VO2 max is the gold standard in measuring aerobic fitness. This assessment is used in populations ranging from heart transplant patients to professional athletes. We use a PARVO metabolic cart. 

This assessment provides clients with:
  • A direct measure of maximal aerobic fitness ability
  • Corresponding workloads to heart rate measurement
  • Efficiency analysis

Each session takes approximately 60 minutes and includes a debrief and interpretation of the results with an opportunity for the client to ask questions and request further clarification.
